We are a wholesale walnut tree nursery in Turkey. We sell walnut trees to customers who want to establish large walnut orchards. We also sell to nurseries that want to resell walnut trees in their own country.

Price per tree depends on the total number of trees. Please fill out the form below, and we will send you a price quote based on your order quantity.

WHAT DETERMINES THE PRICE

Three things move the price of a grafted walnut tree. Knowing them before you ask makes the quote we send back more useful to you.

Tree grade

A larger, better developed sapling has spent longer in our fields and costs more to lift, store and ship. If you are not sure which grade suits your climate and your planting plan, ask us in the form and we will recommend one.

Order size

We are a wholesale nursery and we price per tree, so the figure comes down as the order grows. This is the single largest factor in what you pay, which is why the form asks how many trees you are planning on.

Delivery and timing

Your country, the size of the load and the month you want the trees all affect the delivery part of the quote. We arrange the truck and handle the export paperwork, so both are quoted together rather than left for you to work out afterwards.

ORDERING, PAYMENT AND DELIVERY

These are the terms an order normally runs on. If anything here does not suit how you prefer to buy, say so in the form and we will tell you what is possible rather than leave you guessing.

Minimum order
We are a wholesale nursery, so there is a minimum, and it depends on where the trees are going rather than on a company rule. A shipment has to fill enough of a truck to be worth sending, so the threshold is lower for a destination we can reach overland in two days than for one that needs a long haul or air freight. The figure we publish as a general guide is 3,000 trees. For some destinations it is lower and for a few it is higher. Tell us your country and the number you have in mind and we will confirm it in our reply -- if your order is too small to ship economically we will say so plainly rather than quote you.
Who arranges the transport
Either of us -- it is your choice, and we quote on two Incoterms. FCA Bandirma, Turkey if you would rather organise the transport yourself: you or your freight forwarder collect from the nursery, and we hand the consignment over loaded, with the Turkish export formalities completed. CPT your destination if you would rather we handled it: we appoint a Turkish logistics company and the trees are delivered to the place you name. Under CPT the carriage is quoted as a separate line from the price per tree, so you can see what the trees cost and what the delivery costs instead of having the two folded into one number you cannot check.
Payment
Payment is by bank transfer, in two parts. 5% confirms the order and reserves your trees in our fields for that season. The balance is due seven days before the trees are shipped. We send you the banking details and the invoice with the confirmed order, not before.
Export documents
We prepare the export paperwork ourselves and it is part of what we quote. A shipment normally travels with a commercial invoice, a phytosanitary certificate issued by the Turkish Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, a certificate of origin, the transport documents and the Turkish customs documents. Where your country is entitled to it we also issue an EUR.1 movement certificate, which is what lets an importer claim the preferential duty rate under a free trade agreement with Turkey. Requirements differ by destination, and some countries need an import permit that only you can apply for, before the trees can be shipped -- tell us where you are and we will confirm what is needed on both sides.
When the trees arrive
Your trees arrive dormant and bare-root with their roots kept moist, and they should go into the ground as soon as you can manage it. If your land is not ready, heel them in rather than leaving them in their packing: lay the roots in a shallow trench, cover them with soil or damp sand and water them every few days. They will wait several weeks like that. Our chapter on planting a walnut orchard covers the arrival checks, heeling in and the first watering in detail.
Our guarantee
We guarantee that your trees leave the nursery healthy and free of disease, and that they reach you in that condition and undamaged. If any tree arrives unhealthy or damaged, we replace it. Check the consignment when it arrives and tell us what you have found.

That is the short version. The full ordering guide walks through the whole process end to end -- who we sell to, where we ship, how a quote is built, payment, the export documents a shipment travels with, and what to do on the day the trees arrive.

How to order walnut saplings

Buying to resell rather than to plant? Our page for nurseries and resellers sets out how that side of it works: one distributor per market, which countries are already spoken for, and what we do for the nurseries that sell our trees.

COMMON QUESTIONS ABOUT OUR PRICES

Because a single number would be wrong for almost everyone who reads it. The price per tree depends on the grade of sapling, how many trees you order and where they are going. It does not depend on the variety: we charge the same price per tree for every variety we graft, so choosing between Chandler and Fernor is an agronomic decision rather than a cost one. A quote built around your actual order is worth more to you than a headline figure you would have to correct anyway, and it takes us less than a day to prepare.

Yes, both. We supply commercial growers planting their own orchards, and nurseries that resell the trees in their own country. The form asks which one you are because the two orders are put together differently -- it lets us answer usefully the first time. If you are buying to resell, we have a page on how that works, including which markets already have a distributor.

As a rule, Chandler below 1200 metres of altitude and Fernor above it, because Fernor is less affected by the late frosts that are common higher up. Either way you need roughly 5% of your trees to be the matching pollenizer -- Franquette for Chandler, Fernette for Fernor. If you are unsure, tell us where your land is and we will advise.

Most likely. We have exported to 35 countries. Our main markets in the EU are Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, the Netherlands, Portugal, Romania and Spain, and outside it Georgia, India, Moldova and Russia. We have also shipped to Albania, Armenia, Austria, Azerbaijan, Belgium, Bosnia and Herzegovina, France, Germany, Greece, Italy, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Kyrgyzstan, Lebanon, Montenegro, Morocco, Nepal, North Macedonia, Serbia, Slovakia, South Africa, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan. We can arrange the carriage to the place you name, or hand over to your own freight forwarder at the nursery, and we deal with the phytosanitary paperwork either way. Tell us where you are and we will confirm it in our reply.

Usually within 24 hours, by email, to the address you give in the form. If you would rather talk it through, our phone number and email are on the contact page and you are welcome to call.
